FDBQ EXCLUSIVE: RJ Benjamin Chats to Feedback Musiq | Music Exchange 2013

RJ

We caught up with RJ Benjamin at this weekend’s Music Exchange Conference. Benjamin was quite a busy body at Cape Town City Hall these last few days as he wasn’t only there in his capacity as musical genius but also as a panellist in order to impart his plethora of tips of the trade to aspiring artists and industry players alike.

We grabbed a minute of his time to chat about his rumoured retirement from music, the next phase in his life, what he thinks about remixes and what future projects to expect. The Clash of the Choirs musical director let us in on some interesting things to note. He will be performing the role of musical director again on Idols later this year and is also in the process of writing an autobiography in which he’ll reveal some “horror stories about ex-girlfriends”. This should be interesting.

The ‘Change the World’ singer hopes to have his book ready in time to coincide with his new album release. We’ll be keeping our eye on him for you and bring all the details about both projects as soon as we know. Meanwhile, check out our interview with RJ right here:
