It seems as though being an artist these days means staying alive long after you’ve died. We saw it with Michael Jackson now say hello to new music by Jimi Hendrix.
After he wrapped his 1986 rock and roll classic, Electric Ladyland, Hendrix got back to concocting more hits in the studio and wherever he could make music. Now thanks to NPR World Cafe, we have a two-hour special of previously unreleased material of Hendrix’s work between ’86 and his passing.
