What Beyoncé’s success with “Love on Top” taught us, very quickly, is that there is a deep thirst for R&B, back in that time where it not only made you feel good but it mattered. Described as a post-R&B band (whatever that means) Bad Rabbits are the kind of artist to bring R&B back in a time where it seems R&B artists have neglected their own craft.
The Boston, Massachusetts natives made their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel recently and what a way to kickstart what’s going to be an incredible career for them. Watching and listening to them perform, I couldn’t help but be transported by a warm nostalgia to the purity of Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall. There’s something about the way these guys understand music that makes sense to the ear and the soul.
