With all the hype surrounding Talk a Good Game, come next month, Kelly Rowland’s fourth solo album is going to be huge!

As part of the promotion for that very album, Ms Kelly said wassup to DC, giving them a concert that turned into something of an emotional roller coaster. You’ve already heard the “Dirty Laundry” single, but you’ve yet to see Kelly’s raw emotional response to it. You’ve yet to see Kelly break down in tears after singing “He pulled me out, he said, “Don’t nobody love you but me / Not your mama, not your daddy and especially not Bey” / He turned me against my sister / I missed ya” and can we blame her? She describes the moment as “therapeutic” in a recent interview and so in case you need some therapy for your dirty laundry too, watch Rowland break it down in live in DC right here.

The very next day after that moving performance, Kelly stopped by WKYS radio to talk about her forthcoming projects, Talk a Good Game, her upcoming Good Morning America performance and of course “Dirty Laundry”. You’ll hear her speak on Beyoncé’s reaction to the song (and particularly to the lyrics highlighted above) as well as her feelings on her break down mid-performance.

Talk a Good Game drops June 18th. Be sure to check back for a full track-by-track review. Also look out for developments on the record between now and then.
