JT channels MJ as he takes back the night.
We told you not too long ago, that a follow up to JT’s The 20/20 Experience was on the cards, due exactly 6 months after the 6 year awaited album dropped. Now we get the first taste of what’s to come.
The first thing you’ll immediately recognise before Justin even sings his first note it’s the Michael Jackson influence on the track. The track itself is reminiscent of something of a “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” with it’s foundational yet catchy bass line, coupled with the groove of the horns, strings and snares. However, he borrows a lyrical reference from Off The Wall‘s “Workin’ Day and Night”. None of this may matter to you – assuming you aren’t as diehard an MJ fan as I am – because you’ll love this single anyway! If this is what the second part of this suit and tied up era sounds like, we’re all ears Mr Timberlake.
