Timbo sets the record straight with Keri Hilson.

You’ll remember Jay talking about his fallout with Timbaland in Part 1 of his interview with Zane Lowe, and how he describes them reconciling to put Magna Carta together. Turns out, Jay was right: Tim was in the wrong and Timbaland not only admits it in his interview with Revolt TV but he also confirms Jay’s timeline of events.

To prove just how sorry he is, he’s putting together a track of apology aptly titled, “Sorry”. It features Keri Hilson, who you will remember, had an unprecedented “fallout” with Mrs Carter. Turns out everyone’s interpretation of the lyrics to her “Turnin’ Me On (Remix)”, was inaccurate as these lyrics, according to her (according to Timbaland), were not aimed at Bey. The lyrics in question read:

“She can sing, but need to move it ‘to the (left)’ / She need to go have some babies / She needs to sit down, she fadin’ / Go ‘head and tell them folks how long I been writing your songs / I been puttin you on, just check the credits”

Before you put on your peruke and cloak, we advise you to hold your judgement until the song drops. We’ll, of course, have that for you when the times comes. For right now though, listen to Timbo’s explanation right here.
