Watch: The Soil: From Soweto to UK – Edinburgh Festival 2013

The Soil grows fans in a rainy Edinburgh.

The Soil is without question one of South Africa’s finest exports and they continue to wave our country’s flag higher and higher. The next stop in the award-winning act’s career is the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland, the largest arts festival in the world. But who better to play at a festival of such acclaim, after platinum success and a stint at the world famous Apollo Theater make up part of their endless list of accolades.

To make sure their fans at home weren’t left out of any of the action, they took the time to document the journey from their native Soweto to Edinburgh. You’ll get an intimate peek into their antics from airport to airport and finally sound check. Their first performance is set for this Thursday and as soon as footage is made available from that set, you’ll be sure to find it right here on Feedbaq!
