LATEST: Electric Light Orchestra Supported by The Muses LIVE in South Africa

South Africa is in for a treat of legendary and rising stardom.

The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), under the the leadership of the incomparable Phil Bates, is making its way to South Africa early next year. Jo’burgers and Capetonians alike are set to be dazzled by the musical troupe that rocked the live music scene from the 70s to the 90s and now bring with them forty years of music magic for their South African fans.

Joining the legendary electro string group is a local group that has won the hearts of many with both their strings and their looks. The four blushing belles go by the accurate name of The Muses. Following on from the premise of their debut album, the string quartet comprised of two violin players, a viola player and a cellist, are set to thrill audiences with covers from some of the biggest singles in the world. Look out for singles from their sophomore album, Pop On Strings 2 featuring some new hit singles. We have a feeling that between David Guetta’s “Titanium” and Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” you’ll be more than fired up to get jamming to ELO.
