The man with the funkadelic guitar is coming to South Africa.

Legendary guitarist and multi-award winner Carlos Santana is set to perform live in South Africa next year. Premier concert promoter Big Concerts made the announcement today.

Carlos Santana is famous for hits such as “Black Magic Woman”, “No One to Depend On” and “Everybody’s Everything”. He has collaborated with a slew of high profile musicians, not to mention the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. 10 Grammys, a Billboard Latin Music Awards 2009 Lifetime Achievement honour, a Billboards Century Award in 1996, an induction into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame and over a 100 million records sold worldwide – these are but some of the tokens that stand testament to that legend that is Carlos Sanatana.

Santana is set to play two Cape Town shows at the Grand Arena in February of next year. He will then move to Johannesburg to kick off the month of March with his final South African performance.

Tickets to both shows go on sale tomorrow, 13 November, at 9am SAT and are available from Big Concerts and Computicket. Check out dates and details for your city below:
